How do I request for my child to join Inter Penarth?

Do you have waiting lists?

The number of players in an age group depends on a couple of factors; the numbers of coaches we have for the squad, how many players the coaches feel they can manage effectively, and for older age groups (U12 and above) the league restricts a squad roster to 20. After you submit an expression of interest form, we will contact the coaches and then either invite you for a trial tranining session, or place you on a waiting list.
What age groups do you run?

Details of the squads we run are on the Teams page of the website. We are currently structured to provide U7s to U16s, but are open to creating an U6 squad if there is sufficient interest (and parents to volunteer to coach). In time we may also expand to provide a Youth team, but don't have one at the moment.
Do all coaches and helpers have DBS checks?

Yes, all coaches and team staff have enhanced DBS checks run before they are allowed to work with a team.
How do I get in touch to look to sponsor a team?

If you are interested in partnering with Inter Penarth to sponsor or fund a particular age group or in general the whole club, please email sponsorship@interpenarth.com for more information on the packages we offer.
Where do I find out more information on Grassroots Football in Wales?

The FAW have lots of literature available to support Grassroots Football in Wales. The best place to visit is https://faw.cymru/grassroots/ for more information.
Do your age groups host visiting teams from out of the area or are they able to travel?

Yes, depending on the opportunity we would look to either host visiting clubs for one off or more structured matches and are always open to new options to visit other teams and leagues. Please contact vicechair@interpenarth.com who can point you to the nominated point of contact for the age group.
