Inter Penarth End of Season Awards

From the Inter Penarth Chair.

Looking forward to our Club End of Season event which is to be held at Penarth RFC on Sunday, May 11th from 1pm.

A few details:

A) Timings

As we did last year and due to the numbers involved, we'll split the day into 2 segments and provide a slot for each squad in order for the coaches to say a few words and make their trophy presentations.

You are welcome to stay all day though. The kids can play outside and parents welcome to socialise. The bar will be open and BBQ food available.

These slots are as follows:

1.30pm – 3pm (Younger Squads)

1.30 Under 7 Presentation

1.45 Under 9 Presentation

2.00 Under 10 Presentation

2.15 Under 11 Presentation

3.30pm – 5pm (Older Squads)

3.30 Under 13 Presentation

4.00 Under 14 Presentation

4.30 Under 15 Presentation

4.45 Under 16 Presentation

B) Medals and Trophies

These have been organised for all squads by Matt Rose and will be provided on the day.

C) Food and Refreshments

Just like last year, we're planning on a barbecue providing burgers and hot dogs (hopefully the weather is going to be wonderful!) We'd welcome some volunteers to help with serving the food - could anyone interested please contact Mark Adams at vicechair@interpenarth.com. Please remind people to bring cash although card payment will be available. Obviously the Club Bar will be open throughout.

D) Raffle Prizes

We will be conducting a raffle for which we would love some donated prizes. As a minimum, it would be good to have 3 prizes from each squad. Please let me know of any specific (exciting!) items that could be donated otherwise, happy to collect the prizes on the day. Again, please remind people to bring cash.

As with last year, the afternoon will be pretty casual and we would encourage players and coaches to wear their kits to properly celebrate a successful season.

To reiterate, please get in touch if you can provide donations to the raffle and/ or you can help with the barbecue. If there are other general queries, please let me know.
